The Pearson Edexcel Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management is for learners who are working in the role of Construction Site Manager, Assistant Construction, Site Manager, Site Manager, Sub Agent, Assistant Site Manager or Construction Planner in the UK wanting to gain a qualification to confirm their skills, knowledge and experience, this will enable them to gain a Black CSCS Card.

At induction you will complete a detailed plan with your Assessor which will identify the evidence you need to gather and the knowledge required to complete your portfolio and gain your qualification. All of our Assessors are occupationally competent and qualified to deliver the qualifications we are accredited to run.

Companies paying a CITB Levy should be able to receive CITB funding for this course, check the CITB website for confirmation.

The Pearson Edexcel Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management is for learners who are working in the role of Construction Site Manager, Assistant Construction, Site Manager, Site Manager, Sub Agent, Assistant Site Manager or Construction Planner.


The main duties and tasks of a Construction Site Manager are:


• to ensure that safe systems of work are in place on their site and that all staff and
operatives on site adhere to those systems and safe standards of behaviour
• to manage productivity on site so that the project is completed on time
• to manage the activity on site in a way that adheres to contract and cost constraints
• to ensure that the site has minimal impact on the environment and local community
• to manage interfaces between the various stakeholders associated with the site
• to ensure that the project is completed to the specification and quality demanded by
the client.


The Pearson Edexcel Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management is suitable
for learners to:
